Honda Civic EM2

The Honda Civic EM2 isn’t the most common Civic on the roads. Which means they’re already pretty rare in stock form. But when you see Nomii Mughal’s 2001 Civic EM2, you won’t find one cleaner. And that’s because Nomii has a great sense of what “clean” exactly is. And after looking at his Civic, we do too.

It all started back in 2011 when Nomii bought the car. He decided to get the EM2 for 2 reasons: Civics are great first cars; and the EM2 wasn’t a typical car he’d seen on the roads. Back when he first bought it, he went through the “ricer” phase (most of us have). All he wanted was under-glow and a good sound system. But as time went by, he started getting motivated by pictures of stanced cars on the internet that had clean fitment. So he started diggin’, and after awhile, he found out that he wanted to start fresh with some good ol’ camber and fitment!

Around August 2012, Nomii started to frequently change the wheels and offsets, until he was satisfied. And that’s when Nomii decided to get the ever-so-beautiful 16×10 Diamond Racing Steelies in September 2013. He also added a -4 camber in the front and -11 in the rear. This immediately started to change the look of the car. And this is when it started grabbing people’s attention.

But he didn’t stop there, he continued the pursuit to creating the cleanest EM2 in Ontario by adding several subtle mods. After getting the right camber, he lowered it with Function and Form Type 1 coilovers. He also added the street-sweeping front lip along with the black window tint and the aftermarket grille. It’s clear that Nomii was going for the form > function approach to this build, and in this case, we absolutely love it.

But he’s not done yet. Nomii is planning on going with a with an 18×9.5/10.5 offset in the near future… Stance Republic would like to thank Nomii Mughal for the amazing photos he took, and for sharing his ride with all of us.
