El Monte-Rosemead Adult School CTE program provides students with opportunities to explore, evaluate and prepare for careers. Our CTE program provides entry-level training experiences that prepare students for successful participation in the community, home life, work and college. Innovative and state-of the-art programs; which lead to industry recognized certification are made available to all individuals, especially the career-oriented student.
All CTE students prior to enrollment for all CTE Classes must attend a CTE Career Sequence Orientation at our brand new Career Center, Room 210. No student can enroll without a verification receipt confirming that they attended this orientation.
Students will be expected to buy books for classes enrolled in; costs will vary for some classes, a materials fee and lab fee may also be required. Please be prepared to pay in cash or credit card. Students may enroll in as many classes as they desire. Many vocational classes offer priority preregistration for continuing students who are enrolled in an Occupational Certificate program. For all new students, registration is accepted on the first day of class and will be on a first-come-first serve basis. It is recommended that students be able to read, write and speak English proficiently prior to registering for classes.
