Q: Does Straight Talk carry the iPhone?

Yes Straight Talk carries multiple versions of the iPhone including the 2014 released iPhone 6 but not the 6 plus. They also carry older versions of the iPhones at reduced cost including he iPhones 5s, 5c and 4s. At this time the iPhone with the largest storage is the 16GB iPhone 6.

Q: What about Android phones?

Yes, in fact Straight Talk has quite a few Android based phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 (and S4 mini), as well as other great Android brands like LG, ZTE, Nokia and Alcatel.

Q: Can you bring your own phone to Straight Talk?

For most phones yes, Straight Talk offers a Bring Your Own Phone service plan to both GSM (AT&T and T-Mobile) and CDMA (Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile and others) carriers. To bring your own phone when you switch you need to purchase a Universal SIM card that works with your old carrier’s technology and your model of phone and you can get your old phone up and running as soon as today.

Q: Does Straight Talk offer international calling?

Yes, you can make international calls from your Straight Talk phone, but you’ll need to make sure you are signed up for their international plan, and you will also be charged a per minute fee which varies depending on which country you are calling. Q: What network does Straight Talk use?

Straight Talk doesn’t have its own wireless towers so it uses towers from a mix of the other major carriers, both GSM and CDMA including AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. This ensures you get a high quality service for your calls at a much lower monthly rate because Straight Talk doesn’t have the overhead costs associated with maintaining their own towers.

Q: Is Straight Talk GSM or CDMA?

Straight Talk service is available to both GSM and CDMA phones, although it is primarily based on GSM technology which is the technology that AT&T and T-Mobile use, as well as many international carriers. They also have CDMA service available if you are bringing your own phone over from a service like Verizon or Sprint, but your service may have limitations like the ability to use the phone while roaming.

Q: Does Straight Talk Have Roaming?

Yes and no, it depends on which type of phone you have. If you have a GSM phone (one that you purchased from Straight Talk or one you brought over from AT&T or T-Mobile) then you should have no problem with roaming, but if you brought your own CDMA phone (one you brought from Verizon, Sprint or other CDMA carriers) then roaming is not available on the Straight Talk CDMA network.

Q: Can you buy Straight Talk phones in stores?

Q: What should I do with my old phone?
